Kisan Crdit Card (KCC)

Standard Operating Procedure(SOP) of Kisan Crdit Card (KCC) for “Duare Sarkar” Camp
The KCC scheme was introduced in 1998 for issue a KCC to farmers on the basis of their holdings for
uniform adoption by the banks so that farmers may use them to readily purchase agricultural
implements such as seeds, fertilizers, pesticides etc. and draw cash for their production needs. Finance
Department, West Bengal has created a portal for KCC issuance Monitoring System Summary.
Eligibility Criteria for new enrolment:
All farmers having land with RoR/ Patta/Forest Patta and recorded Bargachasi (Share Cropper) are
eligible for getting assistance under this scheme.
Role of Assistant Director of Agriculture:
 ADA of the block will take initiation for activating the Deactivated/Dormant KCC in
consultation with the concerned farmers in DS camp and will send the same to the concerned
bank after that.
 ADA of the block will collect fresh proposal for KCC from farmers at DS camp
Detailed process flow for registration at “Duare Sarkar” camp

  1. Application form for new enrolment of KCC in prescribed format shall be made available at DS
  2. The Farmer has to fill up the application form with the following documents (Original for
    verification and oneself signed photocopy to be attached with application):
     RoR of Cultivable land/ registered Barga Deed/ Patta record/ Forest patta.
     Aadhaar Card (Mandatory)
     Voter ID card (EPIC) (Mandatory)
     Bank Pass Book 1st page/ cancelled cheque of any scheduled commercial bank (as per
    CBS facility. The account should be normal one (not Jaan Dhan account), Aadhaar
    seeded and operative.
     Mobile Number (linked to bank a/c and Aadhaar) (Mandatory).
