How to set up the help desk on Manabik:
The help desk for Manabik will have :
● Sufficient number of forms of Manabik will be available on desk.
● A slip with the list of all documents required for enrolment under Manabik will be available
on desk for handing out
● Stationery
Which services will be provided from the Manabik help desk:

  1. For one who needs Manabik related information , general information will be provided
  2. For one who needs to apply for Manabik benefit, form with the list of required documents
    will be given to him/her and filled up form with the documents will be collected.
  3. For one who has any Manabik related grievance, his/her grievance will be noted and sorted.
    HR Mapping
    ● BWO/BWO in charge of Manabik will attend the camps. They should be supported by Block
    Level extension Officers/ Staffs
    ● District Magistrate will deploy senior officers to supervise the camps.
    Scheme Guidelines
    i. Objective of the Service/Scheme: Financial assistance to 40% and above disabled persons
    ii. Eligibility Criteria (i.e. age/ education/ income etc): Should be resident of West Bengal and having
    40% and above disability
    iii. Type of assistance/ benefits: Monthly pension @ Rs. 1000/-
    iv. Application procedure: Filled up application forms have to be submitted at Duare Sarkar Camps
    /at the office of Block Development Officer (BDO) in rural area, to the office of Sub-divisional
    Officer (SDO) in urban area, to the office of the Controller of Vagrancy in Kolkata Municipal
    Corporation (KMC) area.
    v. Required supporting documents: Self attested copies of Disability Certificate from Appropriate
    Authority, Copy of the documents – Aadhaar card, Digital Ration Card/ /EPIC card, Copy of front
    page of Bank Pass Book where the details of account no., IFS code, MICR code have been written
    and colour passport size photograph.
    vi. Physical application to be submitted at Duare Sarkar Camps / In rural area –at office of Block
    Development Officer and in urban areas – at office of Sub-divisional Officer, in KMC area at
    office of the Controller of Vagrancy (Purta Bhavan, Saltlake).
    vii. Disbursement of benefits: Monthly pension disbursed directly to the bank account of the
    beneficiary

  4. For one who needs Manabik related information general information will be provided verbally.
  5. For one who needs to apply for Manabik benefit, form with the list of required documents will
    be given. She/he will be properly guided to submit the filled up forms with the documents. If
    any applicant wants to submit application with requisite documents, it will be received with
    proper acknowledgement.
  6. For one who has any Manabik payment related grievance, it will be noted and sorted out.
